It gives us great pleasure to invite you to a research conference and planning symposium “Aging Research in Newfoundland and Labrador: Achievements and Prospects” to be held on September 24 & 25th, 2012 at the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook, NL.

This conference is made possible with support from the Grenfell and St. John’s Campuses, Memorial University, the Newfoundland & Labrador Centre for Applied Health Research (NLCAHR), the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Western Regional School of Nursing, Western Health, and the City of Corner Brook.

This conference features four internationally-recognized keynote speakers: Dr. Howard Bergman, Dr. Neena Chappell, Dr. Janice Keefe, and Dr. Anne Martin-Matthews. We are also excited to present 22 concurrent sessions and 12 poster sessions from researchers and clinicians in the field of aging. The program and abstracts (accepted as a result of a peer-review process) are featured on this website. On Day Two of the conference, there will be a symposium for a planned NL Centre on Aging.

This conference will be of interest to all researchers, educators, administrators, health professionals and community members interested in aging issues. To register for this conference, click here.
